Oh wow, our mouth is our biggest problem, isn't it? Especially right in our home, with our husband and with our children. We either build up our marriage or pull it down with our tongue.
Proverbs 16:23 says: "The heart of the wise teaches his mouth, and adds learning to his lips." We must TEACH our mouth to speak only that which will edify and encourage and to shut up when we can't say the right thing! Our mouths needs a lot of teaching, don't they?
Let's have the same confession as David: "I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle" (Psalm 39:1).
