Here are a few comments we've received concerning the Women's Calendar:

Having used the natural family planning method for years, I found the Woman's Calendar interesting but worry people may use it thinking they will not get pregnant except for that one week on the chart. There are several other factors to look at for determining fertile time and anyone with an irregular cycle couldn't use that. I guess I would want to see on the website where the chart came from, what is based on and some clarifiers that the chart is not fool proof.

Hi... love this new feature on AR! I do have one suggestion, however, if you don't mind. I think it would be a little easier to read if the fertility and free sex days were in a different color family. It does help that they are in separate lines, but it may help for easier reference for those not as familiar with cycle tracking. I only suggest this because I work with many families, some of which are having their 5+ child, and have never familiarized themselves with a chart such as this. The more distint the better! I have already passed the link on to many women, and I think it is one of the best out there! Thank you!

Hello Nancy,
Are you crazy making this calendar? "Free sex days?" "When to have sex to choose a boy or girl?" I must admit I was very surprised and disheartened. I am a younger woman with no Titus 2 women around me. Unknown to you, you have been when of my distant Titus 2 women. My husband and I read your book "Be Fruitful and Multiply" 3 years ago and God used it to shine the light for us. I'm getting mixed signals from you now with this "thing" that is called a calendar. Are we being a bit humanistic here?

Nancy,
I love getting these emails and am so encouraged by your publication.  But, you know what?  I'm starting to get a bad taste in my mouth about the negative words that creep in to the Christian culture regarding our God-given fertility (when so many can't even have their own chidlren) and His devine blessing of children.
I take particular attention to the phrase in your email:·
Free Sex Days: The time with the lowest pregnancy percentage. While the phrase may not have been one you authored, I would appeal to you that it be re-phrased for your website.  The connotation of 'free sex days' implies that all the other days are bad or negative, as if to pay a price for them.  This is contra to the biblical blessing of children/pregnancy.  A blessing does not have a cost unless one is not truly joyful about the blessing and curses it with 'the cost of children' and the 'consequences of sex' etc. I would kindly like to ask that we consider the language of the day and recognize that many a phrase regarding modern fertility is from the post-Sanger revolution of population control and that you use other more biblically-friendly and spiritually-encouraging terms like "less-fertile days."  After all, isn't that the purpose of the calendar?   . . . to know when a blessing may be more possible than to desire it's prevention?
Thank you for your time, Victoria Archer, Norwalk, IA
